Abdullahi Mohamed Hassan

Abdullahi is USDI’s Executive Director. In his position, he plays a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership and vision for the organization. His responsibilities encompass overseeing the overall operations, ensuring effective implementation of organizational goals, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. He also serves as  the secretary to the board of directors. 

As a seasoned program management professional, he  has had a remarkable career spanning over 17 years of extensive experience in diverse settings, including Country Government, Non-Governmental Organizations, and programs funded by donors. His professional journey has spanned across multicultural environments in both Kenya and Somalia.

Currently pursuing a PhD at ELUCLID University, Abdullahi is dedicated to advancing his knowledge in Sustainable Development and Diplomacy.
